Golden Girl! Sweet Ava is a 2 year old terrier mix who's looking forward to sunny days ahead. She and another dog were left abandoned in an apartment and brought to a local animal control facility. Despite this history, Ava is very social, outgoing and always looking for attention. She is housetrained, knows some basic commands and walks well on leash. Ava will do just about anything for a cookie and would be happy to learn some more skills. She would be a perfect partner for a training class as she's social with people and other dogs. Ava loves belly rubs, giving hugs and being as close to you as possible. She's got plenty of energy for active time too and would be a great walking partner or travel buddy.
