Your Smiling Face! Mable is a 2 year old hound/shepherd mix who's looking for a family to share good times with. She originated from a local animal control facility, but had made the long trip from Texas prior to coming to that facility. We know it's been quite a while since this girl was in a home, and she's definitely ready to get away from the stresses of shelter life. Mable is ready to be someone's pet companion on National Pet Day! Mable is sweet, social and outgoing. She enjoys a good game of fetch and a vigorous hike, but also enjoys cuddle time with you. She enjoys the company of other dogs, play time and a long walk in the park. Mable likes everyone, but has shown some resource issues, so would be best for an adult home or a home with older children. These issues could be related to the stress of all the transitions Mable has been through. PAWS' trainers are currently working with her and will provide her adopters with some training support. Mable is a great partner for a springtime adventure, copilot for your in town errands, and active time buddy. She's been waiting for a home for a bit and is ready to help brighten up your life.
