When You Believe! Sometimes in rescue all the negatives can start to be overwhelming: the returns, the behavioral issues, the neglect and misunderstanding, the medical issues and suffering. But it is moments like these that reaffirm why we do what we do. Major's Mom recently wrote us with this update: Just writing to share a photo with you from my Mom's birthday yesterday. This is Major’s first extended family portrait. Everyone loves him and he’s snuggling up and giving kisses to all. Thank you for all you’ve done to bring us so much love in this tiny, bitey bundle. We are forever grateful. This is what the power of determination, persistence, teamwork and, most importantly, LOVE can do. Helping a scared, insecure, struggling little dog or a near feral cat become able to accept love, attention and understanding and become part of a FAMILY.
