It's Adopt a Senior Pet Month and Turnip is looking to make someone a Perfect Sidekick! He's an approximately 12 year old chihuahua that was picked up as a stray. After spending some time at a local animal control facility he came to PAWS. Turnip does appear to have some vision loss which can make him kind of tentative and conflicted about approaching you. However when you pick him up, he's a complete love and great snuggle buddy. Turnip has energy for a brisk walk and would be a great companion for an evening stroll. He would be a perfect pocket dog for a shopping trip, copilot for an autumn excursion or just hang out and watch a movie buddy. Turnip is eligible for PAWS' Senior Pension Plan which means no adoption donation required and some lifelong medical follow-up.
