All By Myself! Ziggy was sad to hear that he's spending another holiday at PAWS. Although he's very loved by PAWS' staff and volunteers, he's really missing something in his life by not having that special person and a place to really relax. Ziggy doesn't ask for much. Perfect House Guest! Sammy is a 3 year old hound/terrier mix who's looking for a place to rest for a bit while he receives heartworm treatment. Heartworm isn't contagious to other animals, but he would prefer a place without other dogs or active cats, so he can keep it cool. Heartworm treatment does require keeping stress and activity levels low. Sammy would love a foster or foster to adopt situation while he undergoes treatment. After spending some time at a local animal control facility he came to PAWS. Turnip does appear to have some vision loss which can make him kind of tentative and conflicted about approaching you. However when you pick him up, he's a complete love and great snuggle buddy. Turnip has energy for a brisk walk and would be a great companion for an evening stroll. He would be a perfect pocket dog for a shopping trip, copilot for an autumn excursion or just hang out and watch a movie buddy.
