Scratch My Belly: Dog of the Year! Bubba isn't really looking to be the center of attention, he just want to be the center of someone's attention. He is a sweet and social 5 year old pit bull terrier mix who's been waiting some time to find his happily ever after. He came to PAWS from a local animal control after not being reclaimed by his owner. Bubba is always pleased to make a new acquaintance. He is quick to engage you in a game of fetch, a little tug or enjoy a little of your attention. Bubba walks well on leash, knows some basic commands and learns quickly. He would be a great partner for weekend active time, a training class or hang out and chill time. He knows how to keep himself entertained. Bubba would like to be the only pet, but is polite in the company of other animals while out and about. He is currently in a temporary foster, but would like to find his permanent digs.
