We Can't Get Enough of Chun! This cutie is a 3 year old small mixed breed who came to PAWS from a local animal control where he was picked up as a stray. Chun can be quite timid at first, but it really doesn't take long at all for this guy to warm. When, he does he's a little love! He enjoys belly rubs, cuddling and a good head scratch. You can see the energy and zest for life that lies just beneath the surface. We know this guy is really going to blossom in a home and give someone a lot of joy and love. Chun is smart, attentive and willing to work for food. He is a great portable size for serious travel, a weekend road adventure or a local shopping trip. He does have a mild heart murmur which doesn't require medication at this time. He may be okay sharing a home with a canine buddy. He would likely do best in an adult home or home with older children. He currently has kennel cough so is eligible for foster-to-adopt while he awaits his neuter surgery. Focused on Finding His Forever Home! Benji is a 4 year old Australian Shepherd who is looking for his perfect partner. He is a higher energy boy who will benefit from lots of mental and physical stimulation. He came to PAWS as an owner surrender when another dog wouldn't accept Benji into the home. Benji has cutaneous lupus which is a skin disease and means he will have to use medication for the rest of his life and avoid exposure to UV rays. As a higher energy working dog, this means he will need an owner who is willing to get a little creative about keeping him busy. PAWS can help with ideas around how to do this. Benji does like other dogs and would benefit from having another high energy playmate. He was reported to have some separation anxiety so would need an owner willing to work with this.
