Pursuit of Happiness! What could be better than a good walk, a little getaway and time spent with a friend? Maddie is a 1.5 year old medium terrier mix who's been waiting with us for a bit, and we're not quite sure why. She took a trip to a local park with her Volunteer Buddy, and a good time was had by all. Her Volunteer Buddy had this to say about her: Maddie was awesome on our outing!!! Great in the car, on the walk, everything! Maddie came to PAWS from a local animal control where she had been surrendered by her family for having too much energy. We find that Maddie is really just a medium energy girl who needs average exercise and stimulation. She would benefit from daily walks, puzzle toys and training time. She is a smart, attentive and social girl who would be great for class time, but would also enjoy some one on one time with you. Maddie enjoys the company of other dogs and would probably be fine sharing a home with a canine buddy. Maddie has represented PAWS at outside events and has been friendly with everyone. Maddie is a wonderful dog who deserves a happy life with a family who loves her and wants to put a little energy into her happiness and well-being. She's sure to bring happiness to her new family in turn!
