Scratch My Belly: Pumba Needs A Pal! One of PAWS' volunteers recently captured these adorable photos of Pumba and his Koala friend, but Pumba is really hoping to find a permanent companion soon. He is a handsome 8-9 month old pit bull terrier mix who's been waiting a bit to find a home. In his young life, this sweet boy hasn't had a lot of consistency and stability. He would really benefit from someone willing to give him the time and attention that he needs and help shape him into the wonderful adult dog he can become. Pumba can be quite mouthy a times, but is learning skills to modify that behavior. He can also be leash reactive to other dogs, but enjoys off leash canine companionship and playtime. He's just not been given the skills and knowledge he needs to negotiate the world around him, and it's a lot of a young pup like him to handle on his own. Pumba is smart, eager for your attention and ready to follow your lead. He and his adopter will receive some free training support from PAWS. Pumba is a perfect partner for a morning run, a weekend adventure or long evening stroll. He is also good at keeping himself entertained and enjoys any time spent around you.
