Shinji is a petite and handsome 1 year old Shiba Inu/Chihuahua mix who needs just a little time to warm and is looking for someone with a little bit of love and understanding. He's an energetic and playful boy who likes chasing a tennis ball, tossing a squeaky toy and cuddles with his friends. Shinji is a great compact size for travel, but just as willing and able to accompany you on a day hike or run on the beach. He probably had a limited environment prior to PAWS, but is doing great with making new friends with a little patience from PAWS' staff and volunteers. Shinji likes other dogs and would be a great playmate and companion for an existing dog. He would benefit from a canine partner to help show him the ropes. Shinji will be available for neuter after his neuter surgery, but can be seen now and is available for foster-to-adopt.
