Scratch My Belly: Don't Worry, Be Happy! Rocky is an adorable 3.5 year old Yorkshire Terrier mix who is looking for a place where he can start setting his cares aside. He was owner surrendered to a local animal control, because he was not a good fit for his former family. Rocky is a rather timid boy who would prefer to live in an experienced adult household. He is somewhat anxious in the shelter, but does well with a slow and gentle approach. He knows some basic commands, walks well on leash and is eager to please. Rocky is really going to excel with a family willing to provide him the structure, training and guidance that he needs. He hasn't seen too much of the world and is looking forward to expanding his horizons with a family ready to take it at the right pace. He doesn't know much about other pups, but shows positive interest and is willing to learn. He will make someone a great companion for daily walks, a ride around town or a nice evening snuggle. Rocky is microchipped and vaccinated. He's just awaiting his neuter surgery and is eligible for foster to adopt. We are accepting applications for him now.
