Count Me In! Vera is a 3-4 year old pit bull/bull terrier mix who's ready to be part of the action. She came to PAWS' from a local animal control facility where she wasn't catching the attention of an adoptive family. She's hoping being here at PAWS is going to turn that around. Vera is a very social, outgoing and active girl who never met a tennis ball she didn't like. She's happy to be your companion for a morning walk, a weekend excursion or wind down time at the end of the day. She enjoys play time with other dogs and would be a great buddy for an existing dog. Vera knows some basic commands and is intelligent and willing to learn. She's up for training class, personal attention time or just about anything else you want to do. Vera is ready to be someone's copilot, confidante and companion. She will be available for adoption following her spay surgery, but can be seen this weekend.
