He was at a local animal control for some time after his former owner failed to reclaim him. He then came to PAWS where he has been waiting for his permanent partner to find him. Dear Santa, I Can Explain! Rex definitely didn't want to miss out on the holiday fun. He's an adorable and entertaining one year old hound/bulldog mix who never passed on a good time. He is full of energy, eager for adventure and loves to keep busy. Rex enjoys the company of other dogs and would benefit from an energetic and enthusiastic canine playmate. Rex does enjoy mischief once in a while and would do well with a family willing to work on his training and manners. Rex has been with PAWS for a bit. He came from a difficult situation where he was kept somewhat isolated from normal activity and probably didn't get all of the appropriate puppy socialization. He can be uncertain with new people at times, but is so much fun and full of love when he warms. Rex would do well with an experienced adult home wiling to help build his confidence. Starting Over! That can be a pretty scary prospect for a little guy in a big world. Olaf is an adorable 2 year old chihuahua mix who came to us from a local animal control where he was really struggling. He has definitely made progress at PAWS and made some close friends, but remains somewhat stressed at times and will need someone with a little understanding. Olaf will do well in an adult home experienced with chihuahuas or other small sensitive breeds. Olaf is a smart cookie who is willing to work for a treat or some of your praise. He's lively, playful and fun. He's got plenty of energy for active time and would be a great walking partner. Olaf really enjoys the company of other dogs and may do well with another social and confident pup to help show him the ropes. Where I Belong! Ivy is a shy 3 year old shih tzu mix that is looking for a place to call her own. She came to PAWS from a local animal control after being picked up as a stray. She can be quite timid with new people and will need someone with a little understanding.
