Looking for Love! Meet Bella, a sweet and playful 10 month old Chihuahua mix. Bella can be tentative at first, but is a great cuddle buddy once she warms. She came to PAWS with some skin issues, but has been improving. Bella likes to make new friends and enjoys play time with other dogs. THE POWER OF LOVE! Sabrina is a petite 5 year old pit bull terrier mix who was originally picked up by a local animal control facility. Initially she was emaciated, flea-infested, most of her fur was missing and she needed serious medical attention. Thankfully, Sabrina was able to receive the care she deserved. Her fleas were taken care and she was able to put some weight on her bones. We are so grateful that they intervened with this little lady, as we feel very lucky to meet such a powerful example of optimism and tenacity! PAWS has now stepped in to help this special girl find a home. Since she has been at PAWS, we have also discovered that Sabrina is either deaf or severely hearing impaired. Despite everything that this little girl has been through, she's a complete love. She is bright, curious and enthusiastic! She loves making new friends and seems to like the company of other dogs. She knows some basic commands and learns quickly. Sabrina continues to make progress with her appearance, but her heart has certainly been there all along. We'd like to take this opportunity to also thank all of our wonderful volunteers for the love and devotion they show to each and every animal that walks through PAWS' doors.
